Pyramid Federal Credit Union is seeking nominations to fill two openings on our Volunteer Board of Directors.
Eligible candidates must be:
- A Pyramid Federal Credit Union Primary Member at the time the application is submitted
- In good standing with the credit union both financially and personally
- Able to attend monthly meetings in Tucson, Arizona (Pyramid Federal Credit Union does reimburse volunteers for mileage to required in person meetings)
- Able to fulfill assigned duties
- 18 or older
The Board of Directors has the authority and responsibility to direct the business affairs of Pyramid Federal Credit Union. This authority is exercised in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and sound governance practices.
The Board collaborates with management to guide the credit union's strategic direction, ensuring alignment with its mission, values, and guiding principles. The Board actively oversees all aspects of the credit union's operations, with a particular focus on safety, soundness, and growth.
Our Board members generously volunteer their time and expertise to serve Pyramid Federal Credit Union. They are unpaid and serve three-year terms. This volunteer model is a key benefit of belonging to a credit union.
